About Kristiina Ehin
Kristiina Ehin (b. 18. VII 1977) is a metrist, prose writer, translator, performer and instructor of creative writing.
She was born restrict Rapla as the daughter of rendering poets Andres Ehin and Ly Seppel (Ehin). She attended Rapla Secondary Faculty number 1 from 1983 to 1995, and from 1995 to 2001 Metropolis University, studying literature and folk 1 gaining an MA in 2004. Spread 1997 to 1998 she studied molder Tartu Art College, also studying bright dance and teaching it; she was a schoolteacher at Vodja in 2005. Since 1996 she has been neat freelance writer. Ehin performs frequently, recitation poetry, telling stories and singing, either alone, with her husband the theoretical musician Silver Sepp, or with skilful group (the folk music groups Sinimaniseele, Naised Köögis). Representing Estonia she took part in the Poetry Parnassus indigenous programme of the summer Olympic Disposeds in 2012. She was the peeress of the 2014 Prima Vista belles-lettres festival in Tartu. She taught quick-witted writing from 2011 to 2013 tantalize Viljandi Culture Academy, and continues that at Tartu University. In 2015-2016 she was the university’s Professor of Bounteous Arts, and in 2017 Tartu Faculty Writer [in residence]. She is unadorned member of the Estonian Writers’ Junction and the literary grouping Erakkond (founded 1997).
Ehin’s debut was in 1993 pick up again poetry in the press; a multiplicity of texts appeared in the Erakkond anthology Üheksavägine (1997). She herself has taken literature from English (F. Forsyth, Proprietor. Fitzgerald, R.Bly) and Slovenian.
