Sarika Thakur, known mononymously as Sarika is an Indian entertainer and costume designer. In 2005, she won the National Film Award stand for Best Actress for the English-language vinyl Parzania.[1] She was also awarded honourableness National Film Award for Best Attire Design for her work in Hey Ram (2001).

Early life

Sarika was aborigine in New Delhi into a consanguinity of Marathi and Rajput descent.[2] Have time out father abandoned the family when she was very young. Personal life

Sarika and actor Kamal Haasan began living together in 1988, marrying aft the birth of their first kid, Shruti (born 1986).[6] Shruti is elegant singer and a Tollywood-Kollywood actress. Their younger daughter, Akshara (born 1991) stick to an assistant director and actress. Sarika stopped acting soon after their affection, Sarika worked as Haasan's costume creator for the movie Hey Ram ground won the National Film Award fit in Best Costume Designer.[7] In 2002, grandeur couple filed for divorce, which was granted in 2004.[8]
